Extended Kickstarter: Call of Cthulhu: The Writhing Dark – Playing Cards and Tarot

So, there was this really awesome Cthulhu-themed cards Kickstarter that ended in December of last year. If you really wanted to buy into it, but you didn’t have the money, or if you’re just hearing about it now, you’ve got a chance to grab up some of these awesome cards, tarot cards, and coins!

The project was created and illustrated by Shane Tyree, who is a friend of mine, and an all-around awesome person! If you’ve heard of or already bought the Name of the Wind playing cards, which are based on the amazing novel by Patrick Rothfuss, Shane also did the art for those.

So, what’s in this Kickstarter? It has stickers, postcards, the Unlimited Writhing Dark playing card deck, the Horror on the Orient Express playing card deck, The Writhing Dark: The Eldritch Tarot, and lots of cool coins. There’s also an anthology of short stories submitted by the Kickstarter backers. I actually edited portions of it, and let me tell you, it’s really good! As you can see from all of the pictures, the art is incredible. It’s really detailed and super eerie, which is perfect for Cthulhu!
