Ember is a very deep game inspired by classic computer RPGs that just launched on Steam September 9 courtesy of N-Fusion Interactive and 505 Games. It’s had a long and adventuresome development history that spans over ten years, but the end result should be a rich and detailed world that has over 30 hours of gameplay to offer those who dare to enter its realms.
The game sets you in the role of a resurrected “Lightbringer,” summoned to protect the dying Embers of a world on the brink of destruction. There are more than 70 quests, a wide variety of combat skills, and a seamless world filled with towns, dungeons, lush forests, vast deserts, and other hand-crafted surface and subterranean environments, all featuring a day and night cycle to further enhance the gameplay experience.
505 Games was kind enough to provide me with a copy of the game, so once I have a chance to dig into it, I’ll report back to share my thoughts and impressions with you all!
Meanwhile, head on over to Steam and pick up your copy of Ember today and get ready to embark on a wonderful journey!
