Despite thinking that this would go on for a few more videos, well…this is already the last video of Zelda: Outlands on the NES! Originally, I was going to do at least another two, maybe three, videos, but I really pushed forward through Levels 6, 7, and 8, did a ton of overworld exploration, and then by the time I was done with all of that, I figured I might as well press on and finish Level 9.

All-in-all, I think this was a pretty good run of the game. I was a bit disappointed that I somehow missed a heart container somewhere along the way, but it didn’t really seem to impede us much at all. I’ll admit that Level 9 was a challenge and having that extra bit of health might have helped, but in the end, it was all good.

I really liked the level design in this one and how the dungeons and overworld felt like a big maze. I also liked the item placement (getting the Red Armor in Level 8 was a nice bonus!).

This hack stands up well even 14 years after its initial release!
