Today, I have two new videos out that I’m combining into one post so as not to flood the site with tons of media updates! 🙂
First off is a new episode of my 4K adventures through Terranigma for the Super Nintendo. Last time around, we explored inside the great Ra Tree to save it from deadly parasites and in turn allowed it to restore plant life to the harsh surface of the Earth. Now, we head north to the Colorado region to fight our way through Grecliff, destroy the evil residing there, and restore the birds back to Earth. A quick visit to Windvale allows us to restore air currents that will make flying much easier.
Sounds weird, I know, but it’s a lot of fun, and this game is a true Enix classic!
Then we have the second half of my live playthrough of Sylvan Tale for the Sega Game Gear. Here, we continue to explore the lands of Verda and Flora in search of the magical Droplets, then make our way to Sylva, where the final Droplet is said to be kept. We find several cryptic secrets, take on some difficult and annoying bosses, and, in the end we unite the prisms, defeat the evil Emperor Moa, and save Queen Rui of Sylvalant and her people!
All-in-all, I’d say this 1995 adventure game is a true gem and often overlooked. It’s a shame, because it’s a blast to play!
