Check out my review of Halo: Escalation #1.
Halo: Escalation #3 wraps up the first small story arc in the Escalation series in a blaze of fire, death and mayhem. I’m still loving this series, as we get to see diversity, good ol’ fashioned action-move style dialogue, and just enough intrigue to keep me hooked.
My only complaint is that it was sometimes hard to tell some of the characters apart. This makes sense, because I’m basically dealing with military people, meaning they have to have the same sorts of hair cuts, lack of facial hair, and muscled features. It was also not a huge problem, because after a few lines of dialogue, it would always be revealed who was speaking, but it was a little annoying.
I highly recommend this series to Halo fans and to fans of the military action-hero genre in general.
