This is just a friendly reminder about my Extra Life charity fundraising drive that’s currently taking place. Even if you’re unable to attend the main event (more details to follow!) that starts on December 13, you can still donate money to the charity. All of the donated money goes to providing kids with toys and video games while they’re in the hospital, and since this is the holiday season, I think this is an even more admirable goal! So, whether you can donate $1 or $100, please know that every bit you donate really helps.
So far, my goal for this is pretty modest. If we can raise at least $100, I’ll be happy. For every $20 beyond the initial goal, I’ll play an extra hour of video games for those who tune in (or watch later when everything has eventually been edited for YouTube). Currently, my plan is to play approximately five hours of video games, starting at 7:15 p.m. PST on December 13, but depending on how much money we raise, I’ll continue playing (with short breaks) potentially indefinitely!
Please help me make this a fun event for all who can attend and, more importantly, for the kids whose Christmas season this will help brighten! Donate if you can, and please spread the word!
