Review: The Art of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

The Art of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is an awesome, 192-page art book available from Titan Books for $34.95.

The book explores the various locations and characters of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The concept sketches, character designs, and landscapes are gorgeous, and they often shed new light on aspects of the game that you may not have noticed at first.

I immediately loved the art, probably more than usual, because the first page features a stylized sketch of the Pitons in St. Lucia, the island my father’s from. I also enjoyed learning about the thought process and reasoning behind some of the art choices.

If you love pirates, shipwrecks, gorgeous art, and Assassin’s Creed, be sure to snag this one!
