Personally, I don’t really like it. I think it’s a strange choice to show the guy aging into Joel. The actual game footage alongside the live action is also all footage we’ve seen before. I dunno, it was just pretty boring to me.
What do you think about the trailer?

UGH. I have NO idea why a live action trailer was necessary (for this or ANY current or future game), as the in-game movies are remarkable and more immersive. For me, it’s another waste of more money better spent on something else for SCEA or whomever was in charge of producing it. Anyway, the game is getting great reviews (save for one site with a reviewer who seemed to not understand the game’s tone at all), so I guess the point is moot now…
