Spy Hunter Roars Back Towards the Big Screen

Hey, have you guys played Spy Hunter?

No?

Get off this website.

Spy Hunter

If you HAVE played the 1983 arcade game, or any of the multiple sequels that were released on PlayStation 2, GameCube, or Xbox, then dig this.

The movie project, long trapped in development hell, is back in production, no doubt due to the upcoming release of the newest Spy Hunter title on PS Vita and 3DS.

If you remember, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was originally attached as the star of the film, and even starred in Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run, which was an awful game.

No mention of The Rock in this run at the movie.

Zombieland director Rubin Fleischer is set to direct, under the care of Warner Bros. Fleischer will also be searching for a writer to create a new draft of the script.

I’m not sure how cerebral a movie about a weaponized sports car that can transform into a boat and a motorcycle can get, but I know for damn sure that I’ll be there.
