I hope you are all hungover from the gaming parties you were at last night in Seattle.
So here’s what’s been happening up at PAX! Nothing! Just kidding, there are a few things.
The Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes trailer was debuted today during Hideo Kojima‘s panel with a brief bit of gameplay added to the end. The graphics look amazing, and the game is running on the brand new Fox engine that the was only introduced in Japan in a few days ago. Kojima added that Silent Hill could possibly be supported by Fox in the future. Don’t watch this if you don’t want Peace Walker ruined for you. Spoilers!
Ubisoft was giving people mohawks as a promotion for Far Cry 3, and the first sixty people to get them got their own free copy. Update: there is now a Facebook album of the mohawks.
Cards Against Humanity’s second expansion pack has been out and for sale at PAX, and will probably be sold out by tomorrow. They’ve also got some amazing t-shirts that have sayings from both the white and black cards on them. Definitely worth a stop by their booth.
We caught Games Radar’s tweet about the new God of War: Ascension trailer, introducing the Furies (Gods of Retribution), which you can see right here:
Insomniac Games revealed a new game title, Fuse, and we have no idea what it’s going to be. It may have something to do with Overstrike though, is what game peeps are saying.
Our own Sarah The Rebel had a chance to play this little game named Raiderz and seemed impressed. She’ll be writing more about her hands-on time once her PAX fun is over.
I’m sure there are a few things we’ve missed and skimmed over, such as the new Razer Blade being announced (the first gaming laptop ever!), but forgive us. We are foolish and easily distracted. It’s Saturday night. So if you will excuse me now, I’m going to go get drunk.
