Stephanie’s Favorite Game Announcements at E3 2017

E3 is the gaming convention of the year. There were a lot of awesome game announcements that I’m really looking forward to!

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

First off, yay for Chloe getting her own game! This game takes place after Uncharted 4 and highlights Chloe and Nadine (a character from Uncharted 4). Chloe enlists Nadine’s help in finding the Tusk of Ganesh in India. I’m glad to see the women characters in the Uncharted series receiving attention. This game is set to come out on August 22, 2017 in North America, and August 23, 2017 in Europe for PlayStation 4.

Teen Titans Go! Lego Dimensions Pack

I have been on the fence on buying the starter pack for this game. I know I would go down the rabbit hole of buying all the packs. Teen Titans Go! is a fun show, but the main reason for my excitement is that Gail Simone wrote for this pack. Gail Simone is known for her runs on Wonder Woman, Birds of Prey, and Batgirl. She’s also a big fan of the game. The release date for this pack is September 15th.

Marvel’s Spider-Man

This game seems fun from the demo previewed at E3. The most exciting part of the trailer and demo was the reveal that Miles Morales will be in it. Hopefully he’s a playable character. I’m curious to see who else might come out. Spider-Gwen maybe? There is no release date, 2018 is all that was given. It’s a PS4 exclusive

Kingdom Hearts III

I feel like this is one is on my list every year. It was cool to see another gameplay trailer. There’s no release date yet. More information on the game will be given at D23 in July. Hopefully a release date is given then.

Star Wars Battlefront II

I did enjoy the first game, but prefer games with a story mode. This one will have a single player campaign, and that’s awesome. The single player campaign will take place between the end of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. The player will play as Commander Iden Versio. It will be interesting to see how the Empire functions without the Emperor. This game’s release date is November 17, 2017.

Cuphead

This looks like such a fun game. It’s a throwback to 1930s cartoons. The graphics, the aesthetic…can’t wait to play! The release date is September 29, 2017. You’ll be able to play on Xbox One, Windows 10, and Steam.

A lot of games to look forward to. Can’t wait!
