Chapter two has proven to be a very interesting one in The Witcher 2. Here, we learn a lot more about the history of Vergen and the Pontar Valley region and we learn of the bloody conflicts between the people of Upper Aedirn and the Kingdom of Kaedwen. This conflict was so great and so bloody, in fact, that it has been etched into the landscape as a seemingly-permanent battle between wraiths in the mist. Geralt himself ends up having to search for a cure to Saskia’s poison as well as a way to break the curse and let the dead rest in piece.
Also, as the video’s subtitle would lead you to believe, there’s a portion of the video dedicated to the Succubus and finding out if she’s the cold-hearted killer one of Iorveth’s men would lead you to believe.
The next video will wrap up chapter two, and then we’ll be on our way towards Loc Muinne!
