Why do we love Harley Quinn so much? She’s insane, evil, and has an obsession with a man who doesn’t love her — an obsession that’s basically an abusive relationship.

Yet, for many female comic fans, Harley is one of their favorite characters. Personally, I’m a huge fan of the character anytime she’s around Poison Ivy. Why do we all like her so much?

I hope you weren’t looking for an answer, because I have no idea. If I were to guess, I’d say she’s pretty relatable. Plenty of us sacrifice our own happiness and do things we know are wrong for the ones we love, who in turn may treat us like crap. But that’s a depressing theory…let’s just say we like her because, in the end, Harley does what Harley wants to do, society be damned!

On a lighter note, Amy Dallen recently transformed into Harley Quinn, and it was damned adorable. I also learned some Harley lore that even I didn’t know.
