Kiss Me, Satan #3 starts in the middle of the epic zombie battle issue #2 ended with. Although I continue to hate the up-skirt shots and the exaggerated breasts and butt stances, I’m really enjoying the writing, the colors, and the fabulous eldritch art. My only major criticism is that the female character was too scared to cut out the eyeball, and the big strong man had to do it. Sigh.
On the other hand, I love seeing a story that focuses on two black protagonists, with race not being an issue addressed by either of them.
Of course, they’re pretty busy not dying.
Plot
After a bloody zombie battle, a dying witch tells Barnabus Black to cut out her eye. If it’s still in her head when she dies, all her knowledge of the occult will be lost forever. Now for the hard part: who gets the eye?
