The creators want to make a short film based on the Buffyverse comics called Fray. The comics are set in 23rd century Manhattan. Melaka Fray, a young thief who struggles with family tragedy, has to come to terms with being a Slayer.

“In the ten years since Buffy has been off the air, there has been a Buffy Summers-shaped hole in our hearts. We love the characters in Fray, and we thought that telling the story of Melaka Fray on film was both a natural progression and the perfect opportunity to make something cool for the fandom.

Lurk is our contribution to the Whedonverse. It is our little way of giving back and continuing the Slayer legacy, and we need you, the fans, to help us make it!”

      • I’ll google the rules for the BtVS drinking game Right Now. Although my wife and I are re-watching the show, we’re showing it for the first to time to our daughter (who is finally of an age to see it) so we won’t be drinking. I’ll be thinking-drinking though…

      • Hahaha! Yeah, probably no drinking around the kid. Man, I am compiling a list of the shows I will need to show my future daughter. Buffy is way up high on the list!!

        How’s your daughter liking it?
