The moment we’ve all been waiting for: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been picked up for the fall by ABC.

For those of you under a rock, S.H.I.E.L.D. is an offshoot of The Avengers. A full-length promotional clip will air tonight during the season finale of Once Upon a Time, but for now, feast your eyes on this action-packed seven-second teaser:

Plot

S.H.I.E.L.D. follows an elite law enforcement organization that investigates “the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary.”

Cast and Characters

The cast includes ER alum Ming-Na (as expert pilot and martial artist Melinda May), Clark Gregg (Agent Phil Coulson), Nashville’s Chloe Bennet (as new recruit and computer hacker Skye), Elizabeth Henstridge (genius bio-chemist Jemma Simmons), Iain De Caestecker (Leo Fitz), and Brett Dalton (Agent Grant).

I’m also really excited because Gunn (J. August Richards) from Angel has a super secret role in the show! And lord knows I love that man.
