Electronic Arts announced yesterday, May 6th, that The Sims 4 will be launched in 2014!
Although it has been confirmed that The Sims 4 will be available for PC and Mac, there has been no announcement as to whether or not it will be available for the other popular consoles, such as the Xbox 360, PlayStation, Nintendo 3DS, etc. However, there is a lot of interest in The Sims 4 for the next gen consoles.
IGN has reported that The Sims 4 will have both single player and offline game modes available, which should most definitely please players after the controversy that arose when SimCity‘s always-online play subsequently caused many server issues during the launch.
My personal hope is that they will leave the style of the game alone, while improving the quality of realism in the game. Why change a good thing? Just improve it!
EA has not released many details about the new game, but they have promised updates soon!
