According to Destructoid, Shu Yoshida announced that Legend of Dragoon would arrive on the PlayStation Network on May 1st.

He also confirmed that there were indeed plans for a sequel which were scrapped.

I wish I could just show you what my face looks like right now. This is probably the best news I’ve heard all year. I love LoD so much. I still have my original copies (I actually have two, because one of my discs on the first one eventually died) AND my memory card so I could keep playing.

With LoD on my PS3, it will be easier than ever to hop into the game.

Who was your favorite Dragoon character? Mine was Rose, because she is basically a female Piccolo, but I love Meru because she was a little girl with a big hammer…which is basically me.
