Check out Game Meets Girl’s latest video, just in time for E3!

Although I don’t agree with everything (we wouldn’t be good friends if we were exactly alike in our opinions now, would we?) I certainly agree with her message that the negativity surrounding the industry shouldn’t stop you from getting into the gaming world. Just as I’ve heard (and experienced) horrible sexism, there are tons of companies that don’t have those issues or who take sexism seriously enough to attempt to address it and make changes.

I know some wonderful ladies in the gaming industry, and I know they’d tell you the same thing: don’t be afraid to follow your dreams. Women have been in the gaming industry this entire time, and we will continue to be an important part of the development of gaming.
