I’ve been meaning to take part in some kind of charity event for a long time, but I’ve missed out on a bunch of opportunities. In fact, I wanted to participate in the main Extra Life charity weekend (November 2), but I missed that too. Thankfully, I discovered that you could raise money for Extra Life whenever you’d like, so I decided to pick a weekend and go for it!

On December 13, 2013, starting at 7:15 p.m. PST (10:15 p.m. EST), I will be doing a live-streaming marathon (game, or games, are yet to be determined) in order to raise $100 for the local Blair E. Batson hospital. For a total of $100 or less, I will do at least five solid hours of gaming. However, for every $20 over my modest $100 goal, I will play at least one additional hour – potentially indefinitely! Of course, I may need to take breaks here and there, but you get the idea!

You can actually start donating now! I have a little less than one month to raise money, so I really hope you can find it in your hearts to make a donation to the charity. Plus, if I raise way more than $100, with enough notice before the actual event, I may let you guys decide what I end up playing!
