This episode of The Retro Play Show was originally live-streamed on the evening of August 31 to September 1, 2013!

It’s been over two months since I last streamed Crystalis for the NES, so I decided to get back into it with the help of @Master_Dex (whom you may know from other episodes and from season three of my podcast), who joins in to take Warren Bennett’s spot as my guest for the episode. We complete the Angry Sea portion of the game and make it all the way to the hidden town of Shyron, where we learn a lot about the game’s backstory. With the progress made here, only one more play session remains to finish the game!
