I love Kirby. Not gonna front about that. So I’m always excited when I hear about a new one.

That excitement was a little muted, however, when I heard about Kirby: Mass Attack.

In this new Kirby adventure, Kirby is controlled entirely by stylus. This annoys the heck outta me, because I don’t really like being forced to use the stylus in DS games. I don’t know why, but it has mostly seemed unnecessary to me (a notable exception being games like Okamiden or Sims Castaway, where the stylus is integrated and makes sense to use). I was nervous to see a game where I had to wonder: well, why did you even put buttons on this thing?

However, reading the review and watching the trailer, I think this may become a very addictive game. Trying to get all my little Kirbies to rampage around destroying things looks like a fun little challenge, and I think I will give this one a try!
