Excellent article on the possibilities of using online games to create change.
Imagine a game where your achievement was “Hero” for “Feeding hungry children in African village.”
What if we could make a difference and volunteer and help without having to get out of our seats?
I feel like this idea could be just like change.org, which has made signing petitions easier than ever. Since finding out about that site, I have signed about seven petitions that I would never have made an effort to go out and do something about on my own.
You may think this is lazy, and it is. But these petitions make a difference. Why complain about lazy people when you can use them? Some change is better than no change, right?
I would play this game, would you?
