The highly anticipated DAII demo will be out in just one hour for PS3 users. Xbox folks already got theirs :(. PC users may or may not have gotten theirs, depending on when they tried. The system crashed, just as everyone predicted.

For playing the demo through to completion, gamers get a weapon (Hayder’s Razor) they can use in the full game.

Bioware has stated that if Dragon Age reaches 1 million downloads of this demo before March 1st, they will unlock two in-game items:

• Lothering’s Lament: Written by a Fereldan refugee as she fled the Blight, this book of poems describes her dreams of a new start in Kirkwall, the city across the sea. Readers will surely be enriched by her insights. (Gives money when read.)
• The Far Cliffs of Kirkwall: Written by a Fereldan refugee as she fled the Blight, this book of poems contains touching reminiscences of all she had to leave behind. Readers will surely benefit from her experience. (Gives XP boost when read.)
